He read his fortune aloud at the table, and I had to get him to repeat it.
This beautiful, funny soul who started almost non-verbal early in life, who has had to work through speech therapy of many different kinds, who still struggles with getting words out of his mouth…
Do I truly believe that he can engage a sustained audience, an audience of many who will travel to hear him speak?
Yes, I believe it.
I already see his delight in making people laugh. I hear him practicing inflection when he repeats monologues and dialogues.
He’s already working towards it.
And I know that I will be one among the many, the proud mother in the front row, the one who claps the loudest.
Bravo, my son.
He is going to do such great things! I will definitely travel to hear him speak.
