She told me: “You win.”
That was her message to the hearts before her, including mine: “You WIN.”
And I didn’t hear it as in I would secure, acquire or gain something. I heard it as a challenge, “to be.”
(noun) YOU.
(verb) WIN.
Not win as the goal, but win as the process.
It isn’t my destination to win; it’s my journey of winning.
I felt my heart shake with the challenge. Perpetual winning. Choosing excellence always.
I don’t know that I have enough courage for that.
Forget courage. Who has the energy?!
Today, I ask for courage; and for help to be the type of person that encourages others.
Without growing weary – always pressing forward.
